Ragini Dwivedi in a De-glam role

Ragini Dwivedi is better known for her glamorous roles and stylish looks. After gaining a lot of weight, she was busy working on her body and not seen on screen for a while. Now it’s heard that director Pradeep Raj narrated a story that he is been writing for his next film ‘Kichchu’. It’s a character of coffee estate worker and definitely not a stylish one. Ragini was surprised to know that Pradeep wrote a character keeping her in mind in a total rusty look. 

More surprisingly Ragini doesn’t have a pair in the film. Talking about this, she said ‘the character is self driven and doesn’t need a love interest according to script. I loved the way Pradeep penned it down using the characters as main assets. I’ll be shooting for this one from end of this month’ I need to get tanned a little for the look’ she concluded. 

The film also stars Saikumar, Suchendra Prasad and Dhruva in lead roles.

‘Ajith was never so happy about my take up for Acting. But he never discouraged me. He in fact supported me and guided me a lot I decided to go ahead and take it as a career. He has been a wonderful mentor. Coming to his new hobby, this all started when cinematographer Aravindhan gifted him a camera during the shoot of ‘Dheena’. He started practicing his hands on and now it is his favourite pass time. He even photographed a 90 year old relative and the pictures were amazing. He even did a makeover and photo shoot for me as well’ she smiled.

Zarine Khan goes wild in "Khallas"

The raunchy number, 'Khallas', from Ram Gopal Varma's 2001 crime thriller 'Company', will be seen in a new avatar in the director's forthcoming film 'Veerappan'.

The music of the song is composed by Sharib and Toshi. Producer Sachin Joshi said, ”We wanted a very special song for Veerappan. and Both RGV and I felt that 'Khallas' suited the best. We are releasing it today on Zareen's birthday.

The actress said, "I'm very excited about it. I didn't know that I could enact such wild expressions. Those who have seen the song have praised it and I'm touched by Sachiin's sweet gesture to release it on my birthday."

Another Choreographer turned Director

This is not a sudden new trend in Film Industry. A lot of choreographers turned directors and most of them bagged prominent success. Now ‘Naaka Mukka’ fame Sridhar is ready with a clap board. Yes! He came up with a social message oriented subject and film is titled ‘Savadi’.
‘Savadi’ is all about street biking and how dangerous it is to be reckless while driving and how it affects the respective families. A formal Pooja happened at his office for the launch of the film after which he interacted with almost 50 bikers regarding the subject. He felt heart brioke when he learnt how a biker named; Ganesh lost his life during an accident.
The regular shoot will be happening from 18th may onwards and he said it is going to be a single scheduled shoot. VN Ranjoth kumar is producing this film. Shilpa, Mottai Rajendra, Pintu and others will be sharing screen with Sreedhar in the film. Pravinsaivi will be composing music for the film.

Yash Raj Films is Ready with Another Love Story

Bollywood Love stories Khajana YRF (Yash Raj Films) is producing another promising love story. This romantic drama is being directed by a debut film maker Akshay Roy. The story goes on with a Bengali background.
The crew recently released a small promotional video to introduce, Abhimanyu Roy, the male lead of the tale which is being portrayed by Singer-Actor Ayushman Khurana. He is seen as a Bengali Author and his looks and styling is very unique compared to his previous ones.
Bindu will be the love interest of Abhimanyu in the story, which will be portrayed by Parineeti Chopra. We didn’t get to see her looks from this film yet. But since she has undergone a massive body transformation and lost a lot of pounds, we assume she is going to look stunning than ever before. Parineeti is giving her singing debut with this film. She gave vocals for a melody ‘Maana Ke Hum Yaar Nahin’ composed by Sachin-Jigar.
The main story is written by Suprotim Sengupta and Akshay Roy is taking care of screenplay and direction.

Shraddha to play Dawood Ibrahim’s Sister

Shraddha is about to get aged from 20’s to 60’s. The ‘Zanjeer’ director Apoorva Lakhia has been planning for the Biopic of dreaded don Dawood Ibrahim’s Sister Haseena Parker.
Initially the script was narrated to Sonakshi Sinha and just when everything was going good, Miss Sinha backed out from the project citing some dates allocation issues (At least that is what they’ve told media). Now after a few months, the same story came to Baaghi Shraddha Kapoor’s desk. Since it is a great opportunity to show off her acting skills, Kapoor girl accepted it immediately.
Shraddha has always been choosy about her films and always picked the ones that have enough importance for her character. This project is very important for Mr. Lakhia as the previous ones couldn’t get him a positive feedback from critics.
Shraddha will be gaining a little weight and will be using a lot of prosthetics to look as a woman of 50’s and 60’s age group. Looks like Bollywood is giving out another Biopic which is the trending genre now. Let’s look forward.

Hyderabad woman tortured to death in Saudi Arabia

HYDERABAD: A 25-year-old Hyderabadi woman who went to Saudi Arabia to work as a house maid was allegedly tortured to death. She died while undergoing treatment at King Saud Chest Diseases Hospital in Saudi Arabia.

The family members of the Asima Khatoon were informed about the death on Thursday, three days after the chief secretary of Telangana made a request in writing at the behest of the deceased’s family to rescue her from the clutches of her employer and repatriate her back to Hyderabad.

Asima, a resident of Shah Colony in Dabeerpura, had left for Riyadh in December 2015 on a ‘house maid’ visa procured via an agent. Where as, government had stopped issuing ‘house maid’ about two years ago, she was, in fact, sent to Riyadh on a business visit visa for 90 days and was illegally kept there in confinement.

Though there was no information from her since her departure, she telephoned home about two months ago informing the family about the instances of torture she has been meted out in the hands of her employer, Abdul Rahman Ali Mohammed.

On phone, she told her mother that she was harassed mentally and physically and requested her family to make arrangements for her return at any cost.

18-year-old Girl sets herself ablaze over gold theft allegation

Bellari "Karnataka": An 18-year-old girl, Anjali, set herself on fire on April 15 after her owner forced her to strip to prove that she was not a thief at Bellari in Karnataka. The accused even threatened her to put behind bars, using his influence. This horrific incident came to light on Friday. With 50 percent burn injuries, Anjali is now battling for her life at VIMS hospital, Bellari.

Student Found Dead: Hands Cut Off, Hit On Head 20 Times

JHARKHAND: She was found with her hands cut off, one lying near her body, her head covered in blood. Sonali Murmu, a 30-year-old student had been hit over and over - 20 times - with a sharp weapon before she died, said the police in Jharkhand's Ramgarh district.

Ms Murmu had been stalked for years by a 35-year-old man who she knew from her school days, the police said, adding that it is trying to locate him.

"When we were getting married, he threatened us. I got Sonali's mobile number changed. But he just did not let go. I hope he is punished soon," says her husband Chittaranjan Tudu.

Sources said that Ms Murmu and her husband did not report the stalking because they were concerned about idle gossip and speculation.

Ms Murmu was discovered dead near the front gate of the college where she was studying to be a teacher.

The suspect has been identified as Suken Mandal.

A resident of the area has told the police that she heard cries for help on Wednesday afternoon and rushed to the college gate, where she discovered Ms Murmu's body. Unconfirmed reports say she has told the police that she saw a motorcycle leaving the area.

Left with no choice, Balu decides to go to Orrisa and bring the little kid back. But to his shock, he comes to know that a dreaded gang headed by Kabir Singh and Ravi Kishan is behind all this. Rest of the story is as to how Balu fights against all odds and saves the boy along with his girl friend(Raashi Khanna).

IAS Officer goes for Inspection, puts foot on Hospital bed

New Delhi: In Chhattisgarh, A young IAS officer in Chhattisgarh faced social media abuse on Wednesday after a photograph showed him standing and talking to a sick child’s mother with his left foot resting on the steel rail of a hospital bed.

IAS officer Jagdish Sonkar, a 2013 batch officer went to Ramanujgank hospital on Monday for an inspection where he spoke to a patient. Many other patients and other hospital staff allegedly were furious over his behaviour. A source then clicked a photo, and posted it on social media, where it went viral.

For his “arrogant and insolent act”, livid netizens rechristened the IAS as “India’s Arrogant Service”.

Twitter user Aniket Devdhar posted: “The term ‘public servant’ has lost its meaning long ago.” Fellow tweeple Kanchan Gupta shared the photo and wrote: “Meet Chhattisgarh IAS officer Dr Jagdish Sonkar. He has a MBBS degree. He clearly knows his place in this country.”
