Team India Cricketer all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, who got engaged to Rivaba
Solanki in the first week of February, got married on Sunday morning in
his hometown Rajkot.
The hast melap was at 10 am at the pool side lawn of a hotel and the wedding was attended by both the families and close friends of the couple. Rivaba, who hails from Junagadh, is a mechanical engineer and is the only child of her parents. She is currently based in Delhi.
"The rituals had started on Saturday and Ravindra reserved his best for the sangeet ceremony. There, he showcased his sword skills in front of the guests and left everyone impressed. We are eagerly waiting for Suresh Raina and Dwayne Bravo to arrive and add to the fun by dancing with Jadeja at his wedding reception."
A lot of his cricketing buddies won't be able to attend the wedding reception, since the IPL is underway. Since Team Gujarat (Jadeja's IPL team) had a match against Team Mumbai at the Wankhede Stadium on Saturday evening, his teammates couldn't make it to the wedding on Sunday morning either. However, Sitanshu Kotak, the assistant coach of Team Gujarat, told us, "The entire team has been invited for the wedding reception on Sunday evening."
